SkyHi's Absolute Power

          Abby loves to show! She is a beautiful mover with gorgeous pigment, lots of expression and an outgoing temperament.  She has 5 points, no majors but 5 major reserves!  We always heard the same comments from the judges as they handed us the reserve winner’s ribbon: "if only she was a tad shorter backed."  Abby is now retired from the ring. We hope that her children will carry forward her wonderful attributes while improving on her shortcomings – a worthy goal for any parent!

Sadly, we lost Abby to an obstruction in April 2009 — despite having her at the emergency clinic 48 hours before. She was the sweetest basenji; she loved every person that she ever met. We miss her gentle soul terribly.
